Vax rollout for 5 to 11 year olds in Davao postponed

The vaccination rollout for children aged 5 to 11 years old in Davao City, initially scheduled for February 7, has been postponed due to delays in the arrival of pediatric Pfizer vaccines.

Logistical challenges cited by the Department of Health caused this delay, affecting not only Davao but also other local government units.

Dr. Michelle Schlosser, spokesperson of the Davao City Covid-19 Task Force, noted that the postponement provides more time for preparation and ensures a smoother rollout.
