Brooke Van Sickle scores career-high 29 points in Petro Gazz win

Filipino-American volleyball player Brooke Van Sickle set a new career-high with 29 points in Petro Gazz's five-set victory over Creamline on Saturday.

Van Sickle contributed significantly to the win with 23 attacks, four blocks, and two aces, along with 20 excellent receptions and 12 digs, scoring six crucial points in the final set.

Her performance earned her the seventh PVL Press Corps Player of the Week award for April 2-6, marking the sixth time this season she has achieved a new career-best score.

Despite this achievement, Van Sickle remains focused on continuous improvement and emphasizes grit and one-point-at-a-time mentality to maintain team success.

The win marks Petro Gazz's second victory over Creamline in their past 19 matches, tying them for the second spot with identical records of 6-2.
