UST wins UAAP Season 86 poomsae title

University of Santo Tomas (UST) reclaimed its UAAP Season 86 poomsae title on Monday at the Marikina Sports Center.

Chelsea Tacay secured UST's first gold medal with a score of 8.167 points, followed by Sofia Sarmiento from De La Salle and National University's Laeia Soria in second and third place respectively.

Tacay later won another gold medal for the Tiger Jins when she paired with Vincent Rodriguez in the mixed pair event.

UST also earned two silver medals and a bronze, solidifying their status as the most successful team with five titles.

National University placed second overall with one gold, two silvers, while National University came third with one gold, one silver, and three bronzes.
