UST sweeps first round of UAAP table tennis

UST swept the first round of UAAP Season 86 table tennis with a perfect record in both men's and women's divisions.

In the men's division, UST secured six consecutive wins, including a surprising victory against reigning champion La Salle.

John Michael Castro was instrumental for UST with key victories over Ateneo and De La Salle University, while Eljay Tormis contributed significantly by winning all his matches.

On the women's side, Angel Laude led DLSU to their wins over Ateneo and Adamson, helping them secure a 3-0 record despite losing to UST.
