UST women's team faces CEU in WMPBL tournament

University of Santo Tomas (UST) returns to action after a three-week break, aiming for its third consecutive victory in the Women's Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (WMPBL) Invitational Tournament on Wednesday at Enderun Gym.

UST, with a 2-0 record and featuring standout players Kent Pastrana and rookie Karylle Sierba, faces Centro Escolar University (CEU), who have a 1-2 record and rely on Claire Tapinit and Diana Defeles.

The match is part of a triple-header that begins with New Zealand-Bluefire versus Far Eastern University at 4 p.m., followed by UST vs CEU at 6 p.m.

In the final game of the night, San Juan faces Cavite-TOL at 8 p.m. as both teams look to bounce back from recent losses or maintain their winning streaks.
