US donates 1.3K cots, P204M aid for PH COVID-19 fight

The US donated nearly 1,300 cots for Covid-19 patients and front-liners in the Philippines on Friday.

Over 1,100 cots were given to the Office of Civil Defense (OCD) while at least 150 went to frontline health professionals and patients at the Philippine General Hospital.

Additionally, the US is providing nearly P204 million ($4 million) in health assistance to support laboratory system preparedness, case-finding, technical expert response, risk communication, and infection prevention.
