UP teachers pass students ahead of April 30 semester end

University of the Philippines (UP) teachers have passed students and canceled class requirements ahead of a scheduled end to the second semester on April 30.

Despite this, the UP Board of Regents approved the President’s Advisory Council's proposal to continue academic work under a deferred grade scheme until May 30, 2021.

The decision was met with opposition from student and faculty sectoral regents who voted against it.
