UP ends skid, beats Adamson in men's and women's hoops

The University of the Philippines' women's basketball team ended a two-game losing streak by defeating Adamson University, 57-46, in Manila on Saturday.

UP's balanced attack was led by Kaye Pesquera, Favour Onoh, Rizza Lozada, and Rhea Sanchez who each scored eight points.

In the men's game earlier this week at Mall of Asia Arena, UP also defeated Adamson with a score of 77-51 to regain its winning form.

Malick Diouf led UP with 12 points and 14 rebounds, while Reyland Torres added 12 points in the comeback win after outscoring Adamson 23-9 in the second quarter.
