Robredo criticizes centralized COVID-19 response, urges appreciation for LGU innovations

Vice President Leni Robredo criticized the government's centralized response to COVID-19, arguing it limits local officials' ability to innovate.

Robredo urged the Duterte administration to appreciate and support creative solutions from local government units (LGUs).

She found the National Bureau of Investigation's probe into Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto over alleged violations of the Bayanihan Act unacceptable.
