Transport groups support PTMP, display modernized vehicles at LTFRB

Transport groups gathered at the LTFRB office in Quezon City on Monday to express their support for the Public Transport Modernization Program (PTMP).

Pasang Masda President Obet Martin emphasized that his group and others like ALTODAP, ACTO, Busina, and CURODA will continue supporting PTMP despite any issues.

These groups did not participate in a planned transport strike organized by MANIBELA, underscoring their commitment to the program's progress.

ALTODAP, Busina, and ACTO displayed modernized vehicles at the LTFRB office to demonstrate the positive impact of vehicle modernization on service quality.

LTFRB Chairman Teofilo Guadiz III thanked the groups for their support and highlighted the benefits of PTMP for public transportation.

Chairman Guadiz noted that transport operators have embraced the government's program, working towards preventing any suspension due to its benefit to commuters.
