Toshi's team loses to BSE in grand finals

Filipino import Adrian 'Toshi' Bacallo and his team, Dominator Esports, secured a 3-2 victory over Team Secret in the lower bracket finals but were defeated by Black Shrew Esports (BSE) of Malaysia in the grand finals on Sunday.

Dominator Esports faced a decisive 4-0 loss to BSE, who dominated with farm laner Ryan Na Jie 'JR' Rong's masterful use of Arli and two aces in Game 2.

Black Shrew Esports will take home $300,000 while Dominator Esports secures $160,000 as the runner-up.

Despite Toshi's attempt to adjust by picking Arli for Game 3, BSE's jungler Chan Tat 'MusangKing' Yann secured a flawless performance with five kills and six assists against no deaths in just eight minutes and 41 seconds of Game 3.
