Chinese businessman Tony Yang attends event despite arrest

Tony Yang, a Chinese businessman with controversial ties to former President Rodrigo Duterte and Senator Christopher Lawrence Go, attended an event in March 2023.

Yang was honored alongside them despite his recent arrest for being an undesirable alien.

Yang's brother Michael has been accused of leveraging his relationship with Duterte to secure lucrative business deals during the previous administration.
