Lawmakers link Tony Yang, Allan Lim to illegal POGOs

During the House QuadComm hearing on Friday, lawmakers linked Tony Yang, brother of former Duterte adviser Michael Yang, and Chinese businessman Allan Lim to illegal POGO operations and other criminal activities.

Yang and Lim allegedly used legitimate businesses as fronts for their criminal activities, including DCLA Plaza in Davao City and Brickhartz Technology Inc., which is connected to Xionwei Technology Co. Ltd.

The committee revealed that Yang owns several businesses in Cagayan de Oro City linked to rice smuggling and human trafficking, while the hearing also exposed shares held by Yang and Lim in Paili Holdings Corporation and Paili Estate Group Corporation behind Clark Majestic World.

Rose Nono Lin, wife of Allan Lim, was identified as a key figure connecting Michael Yang and Allan Lim through her involvement in eight companies where Yang has interests.

Lawmakers warned that the alleged criminal syndicate has extended its reach into national security and sovereignty, with Suarez emphasizing that foreign nationals are taking over Filipino land by falsifying documents.
