Workers anxious about returning to offices amid easing quarantine

As quarantine restrictions ease across the Philippines, workers are anxious about returning to their offices due to safety concerns.

While businesses are allowed to reopen at varying capacities depending on local quarantine levels, both employers and employees remain worried about potential risks from the virus.

The Department of Health (DOH) has released guidelines for reopening workplaces, but fears persist over a possible second wave of infections as other countries ease lockdowns.

As of May 22, there were 13,597 confirmed cases and 846 deaths in the Philippines.
