PNP coordinates with DSWD for cash aid distribution

The Philippine National Police (PNP) is now working with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) to distribute cash aid to families affected by the coronavirus pandemic.

Lieutenant General Guillermo Eleazar, deputy chief for operations at PNP, stated that President Rodrigo Duterte has instructed the police and military to assist in this distribution.

Eleazar directed all unit commanders and chiefs of police to coordinate with local DSWD offices to ensure a smooth and orderly distribution of cash assistance.
