Concepcion overtakes Tarlac City in COVID-19 cases

Concepcion town in Tarlac province now has the highest number of COVID-19 cases with 117 total cases and 94 active cases as of Thursday.

Tarlac City previously had the most cases but was overtaken by Concepcion on September 15.

On Thursday, Tarlac recorded its highest single-day tally of 29 new cases, with 22 in Concepcion, two in Tarlac City, and five in La Paz town.

The lone case without known exposure is a 57-year-old female vendor from Sta. Rita, Concepcion, who has comorbidities.

Since the start of September, there have been significant increases in cases with 13 new cases on Monday, 12 on Wednesday, and 29 on Thursday.
