LG Sakers beat Anyang, Carl Tamayo scores 31 points

Seoul Samsung Thunders defeated Changwon LG Sakers in Korean Basketball League (KBL) action on Thursday with a score of 92-88, but Changwon bounced back by defeating Anyang Red Boosters 86-82 on Saturday.

Carl Tamayo had another career night for the LG Sakers, scoring 31 points along with eight rebounds and two steals in their victory over Anyang.

Despite his impressive performance against Seoul, where he set a new record of 37 points, Changwon improved to a 15-13 record following Saturday's win.

Justin Gutang of Seoul Samsung Thunders contributed significantly with 15 points, six rebounds, three assists, and one block in their game against Changwon.

The KBL is set to welcome more Filipino players as Goyang Sono Skygunners are expected to add Kevin Quiambao to their roster, though he has yet to make his debut due to visa-related delays.
