St. Benilde beats Letran in V-League Women's Collegiate Challenge

College of St. Benilde secured a decisive victory over Colegio de San Juan de Letran with a score of 25-21, 25-22, 25-21 in the V-League Women's Collegiate Challenge on Sunday at Paco Arena.

Wielyn Estoque led St. Benilde with 22 points, while Zamantha Nolasco and Mary Borromeo contributed 10 and nine points respectively, showcasing the team's offensive prowess.

The win marks a comeback for St. Benilde after starting their campaign with two losses; they now share second place with University of the Philippines and Far Eastern University at 2-2.

Coach Jerry Yee emphasized the importance of continued practice despite the victory, highlighting areas that still need improvement.

St. Beninde will face the undefeated University of Santo Tomas on August 25 at 10 a.m., aiming to maintain their momentum in the tournament.
