Sotto urges IATF to waive 14-day quarantine for fully vaccinated individuals

Senate President Vicente Sotto III urged the government to waive the 14-day quarantine requirement for fully vaccinated individuals entering the Philippines.

Sotto argued that the quarantine defeats the purpose of vaccination and could deter investors and overseas Filipinos from coming to the country.

The Health department previously stated there is no guarantee vaccinated people won't get infected, while the Tourism department recommended setting up a green lane for vaccinated tourists.
