SoCot speeds up vax drive for health workers

The provincial government of South Cotabato is accelerating its vaccination drive to inoculate priority front-line health workers by next month.

As of Wednesday, 3,934 health workers have received their first dose out of a target of around 8,700 based on delivered vaccine supplies.

Governor Reynaldo Tamayo Jr. has ordered approximately 600,000 doses of the Covovax vaccine to augment national government allocations and reach the herd immunity target.
