Serbia dedicates QF win to injured teammate

Serbia dedicated their quarterfinal win against Lithuania in the FIBA World Cup to injured teammate Borisa Simanic.

Simanic underwent surgery last week after sustaining kidney damage from an elbow hit during a previous match and had one of his kidneys removed in a second surgery due to complications.

Despite being hospitalized, Simanic sent a message to his teammates before the game, boosting their morale and helping them secure an 87-68 victory.
