Lithuania loses to Serbia, ends unbeaten run

Lithuania's unbeaten run in the FIBA World Cup came to an end as they lost to Serbia, 87-68, in the quarterfinals on Tuesday.

Despite their shocking victory over Team USA two days earlier, Lithuania struggled against Serbia and missed out on a chance to fight for a medal.

Forward Tadas Sedekerskis expressed disappointment, noting that the win against the United States is now just history and they had set their goal on winning a medal from the start of the tournament.
