VP Sara Duterte plans to visit The Hague by end-April

Vice President Sara Duterte plans to return to The Hague, Netherlands by the end of this month to celebrate her 47th birthday with her parents, former president Rodrigo Duterte and Elizabeth Zimmerman.

Sara made this promise during an interview in La Castellana, Negros Occidental on Wednesday, April 23, where she also mentioned that her mother was invited but previously couldn't visit due to permission issues.

The Vice President recently returned from a three-week stay in the Netherlands to support her father who is currently detained there for alleged crimes against humanity.

Sara's siblings, Davao Representative Paolo Duterte and their youngest sister Veronica, have been taking turns staying in The Hague to serve as their father’s next of kin.

The Vice President has asked her brother Paolo to return to the Philippines to help with the campaign for their Duterte-allied senatorial candidates.
