Sara honors Filipino workers on Labor Day

Vice President Sara Duterte honored Filipino workers on Labor Day, encouraging them to remain resilient and determined.

Duterte highlighted the perseverance and hard work of Filipino workers in improving their lives, families, and communities.

In her message, she paid tribute to overseas Filipino workers (OFWs), medical frontliners, community workers, teachers, and all public and private sector employees.

The Vice President commended the resilience, intelligence, and diligence shown by workers both within and outside the country.

Duterte wished every Filipino worker a meaningful Labor Day, emphasizing the importance of their contributions.

Labor Day is celebrated annually on May 1 as a regular holiday under Proclamation No. 727.
