Santos: Pacquiao greater threat than Tyson

Bob Santos, head trainer of WBC welterweight champion Mario Barrios, believes that Manny Pacquiao is an even greater threat inside the ring than Mike Tyson.

Santos emphasized Pacquiao's dedication to his lifestyle and mindset, which sets him apart from other fighters, noting that while Tyson wanted to kill his opponents, Pacquiao executes a cold-blooded mentality with kindness outside the ring.

Pacquiao's unpredictability and unique fighting style make him extremely dangerous, as evidenced by past fights where he inflicted significant damage on opponents like Margarito and De La Hoya.

Barrios underwent an intense 13-week training camp to prepare for Pacquiao, who has promised surprises in their upcoming fight on July 19 (July 20 Manila time).

Santos warns that Barrios must be wary of Pacquiao's lead hand and overall fighting prowess, or risk severe consequences.

Despite doubts about Pacquiao's stamina, he surprised many by winning against Keith Thurman in 2019 at age 40, cementing his reputation as a formidable opponent.
