Metro Manila LGUs start vaccinating indigent Filipinos

Some Metro Manila LGUs have started vaccinating indigent Filipinos as part of the government's A5 priority group.

San Juan was among the first to begin this program on June 15, inoculating 435 individuals with Pfizer vaccines and planning for a simple registration process requiring only a valid government ID and barangay-issued certificate of indigency.

Caloocan also initiated its vaccination drive for A5 individuals on June 16.

San Juan Mayor Francis Zamora announced earlier that the city would vaccinate indigent residents starting June 15, with about 300 doses allocated for the first day.
