Benilde lands Moore, Celis for NCAA men's basketball

De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde has secured commitments from transferees SJ Moore and Raffy Celis, strengthening their NCAA men's basketball team.

Moore, a 6-foot-2 guard who played for the University of Santo Tomas in the UAAP after graduating from Arellano University high school, is returning to the NCAA.

Celis, a 6-foot-3 wingman who played six games for Ateneo de Manila University last season and saw action this year, will also join Benilde.

Both players are eligible to play next season and have completed their residency requirements for Season 101.

Benilde head coach Charles Tiu expressed his excitement about the potential contributions of both players, noting that he had previously attempted to recruit them.

Tiu highlighted Moore's impressive showing in high school and the NBTC, while also praising Celis' development under Ateneo coach Tab Baldwin.
