Malacañang urged Filipinos to heed government warnings and stay vigilant as Typhoon Rolly, expected to become a super typhoon, approaches.

Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque stated that the public should closely monitor updates from PAGASA and secure their belongings.

Roque emphasized the need for residents in potential affected areas to remain calm yet alert, listen to weather advisories, and ensure family safety.

The Palace said concerned disaster agencies are on standby 24/7 and the NDRRMC Operations Center is on Red Alert Status, coordinating with regional councils and local government units.
