Speaker Romualdez releases PHP390M aid for Enteng victims

House Speaker Martin Romualdez facilitated the release of PHP390 million in financial aid to indigent citizens affected by Tropical Storm Enteng, following President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.'s instruction.

The assistance includes PHP10 million for each of the 39 congressional districts impacted by floods in Metro Manila and Calabarzon, funded under the DSWD's AKAP Program.

Families will receive PHP10,000 each to help them begin rebuilding after the flooding caused by Enteng, which followed Typhoon Carina.

Tingog Party-list is partnering with Romualdez to distribute around 35,000 food packs starting Tuesday at evacuation centers in Metro Manila and Rizal.

District representatives will be responsible for distributing aid to their constituents as directed by President Marcos Jr., including Rep. Oscar Malapitan and Rep. Mary Mitzi Cajayon-Uy.
