Over 96K families evacuated as Rolly approaches

As Typhoon Rolly approaches, over 96,000 families or about 347,000 individuals have been preemptively evacuated across various regions.

In Pampanga, at least 2,953 people from low-lying and landslide-prone areas were brought to 19 evacuation centers on Sunday.

Bataan is also undertaking evacuations in flood-prone areas with more than 320 families or about 1,300 individuals already housed in public schools, barangay halls, or chapels.

The Bicol region has seen the largest number of evacuees, with approximately one million people evacuated on Saturday alone.
