Western Visayas health workers to complete Sinovac jabs this month

Health workers in Western Visayas will be fully vaccinated with Sinovac by the end of this week or next week.

As of Friday, around 16,880 health workers have consented to receive the vaccine, and 33.91% have already received their first dose.

The region has received a total of 21,880 Sinovac doses and is also distributing 10,000 AstraZeneca doses for Levels 1, 2, and 3 referral hospitals.

Health worker vaccination rates increased from 20% to 50%, inspired by top officials who have taken the lead in getting vaccinated.
