Robredo denies fake news about daughters skipping quarantine

Vice President Leni Robredo on Wednesday denied claims that her daughters skipped COVID-19 quarantine protocols upon returning from the US, calling such reports fake news.

Robredo emphasized these false claims are criminal and malicious, especially during a surge in cases.

She reiterated that her daughter Tricia tested positive for COVID-19 on December 25 during mandatory quarantine and was isolated accordingly.

On Tuesday, Robredo announced she had tested negative for the virus after completing her own quarantine following exposure to a security aide who tested positive on December 29.
