DTI: 30-day rent grace period still applies under GCQ

The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) has clarified that a 30-day grace period for rent payments still applies to areas under ECQ, MECQ, and GCQ.

This policy covers both residential and commercial rents for micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) not permitted to operate during the quarantine.

Trade Secretary Ramon Lopez emphasized the need to support MSMEs as they face economic challenges due to the pandemic.
