PAGASA raises red rainfall warning for Palawan, Mindoro, Marinduque

PAGASA raised red rainfall warnings over Kalayaan Islands in Palawan on Tuesday due to Typhoon Quinta (Molave), indicating more than 30 mm of rain per hour with potential for serious flooding and landslides.

An orange warning was issued over Cuyo Islands in Palawan, while a yellow warning covered the rest of Palawan and Occidental Mindoro, advising precautions against flooding and landslides.

Earlier on Sunday, PAGASA had raised red rainfall warnings over Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, and Romblon due to Quinta, with similar warnings about severe flooding and landslides.
