Red Cross tests over 35k returning OFWs, 2% positive

Over 35,000 overseas Filipino workers returning to the country have been tested for COVID-19 by the Philippine Red Cross.

According to Senator Richard Gordon, around 2% of those tested are positive for the virus.

Gordon stated that all test results are submitted to the Department of Health and Bureau of Quarantine.

PRC plans to open a hotline service for public access to check their test results.
