Rain or Shine beats San Miguel, 122-112, ends San Miguel's winning streak

Rain or Shine defeated San Miguel, 122-112, in the PBA Governors' Cup on Thursday at Ninoy Aquino Stadium, ending San Miguel's four-game winning streak.

The Elasto Painters improved to 7-2 and reclaimed the lead in Group B, while San Miguel dropped to a tie with Ginebra for second place at 6-3 but holds the tiebreaker due to superior point differential.

Rain or Shine took control of the game in the second half after trailing by two points at halftime, with six players scoring in double figures.

Andrei Caracut led Rain or Shine with 20 points and eight assists, followed by Beau Belga's 16 points and five assists, while Aaron Fuller contributed 17 points, 11 rebounds, four assists, and two blocks.

San Miguel's CJ Perez scored 27 points but fouled out, and Terrence Romeo added 24 points, but it was not enough to secure a win against the resilient Elasto Painters.
