Elasto Painters beat Phoenix 122-107 in PBA Governors' Cup

The Rain or Shine Elasto Painters secured a 122-107 victory over Phoenix in the 2024 PBA Governors' Cup on Tuesday at Ninoy Aquino Stadium.

After their first loss to San Miguel, the Elasto Painters struggled against Phoenix but pulled ahead in the fourth quarter with key baskets from Gian Mamuyac and a strong finish led by Adrian Nocum and Aaron Fuller.

Rain or Shine coach Yeng Guiao credited his team's success to maintaining their natural pace and controlling the game’s speed in the final period.

Eight players scored in double digits for Rain or Shine, led by Adrian Nocum with 16 points and a double-double from import Aaron Fuller with 16 points and 11 rebounds.

Phoenix's Brandone Francis had a standout performance with 31 points but it was not enough to prevent Phoenix from falling to 0-6 in the conference while Rain or Shine improved to 5-1.
