Quiambao scores first UAAP triple-double in five years

Kevin Quiambao achieved a career-first triple-double in the UAAP men's basketball tournament on Saturday, becoming the first player to do so in five years.

Quiambao scored 17 points with 14 assists and 11 rebounds, setting a new modern assists record for the league. His performance helped De La Salle University secure an 88-78 victory over National University, improving their season record to 6-3.

Assistant coach Gian Nazario highlighted Quiambao’s dedication during training as key to his exceptional numbers, while Quiambao credited his success to La Salle's system and the support from his teammates.
