NU loses to La Salle due to lack of effort

National University lost to De La Salle University on Saturday, ending their five-game winning streak.

Coach Jeff Napa blamed the loss on a lack of effort rather than the absence of key players like Steve Nash Enriquez, Jolo Manansala, and Reinhard Jumamoy.

Kevin Quiambao from La Salle led with his first career triple-double, contributing 17 points, 11 rebounds, and 14 assists.

National University now holds a 7-2 record in second place behind the league leader, University of the Philippines, which has a 7-1 record.
