Government considers easing Metro Manila lockdown in June

The government is considering easing the general lockdown in Metro Manila and nearby provinces in June as coronavirus infections continue to decline.

Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque said the decision will depend on hospital use rates, two-week attack rates, and daily infection rates.

Roque noted that the average daily attack rate in Metro Manila has dropped to 10.6% from a peak of 34%, while the two-week growth rate has decreased by 47%.
