QC teachers tested negative for COVID-19 ahead of F2F pilot

Teachers at Payatas B Annex Elementary School and Bagong Silangan Elementary School in Quezon City underwent antigen tests for COVID-19 on Saturday, December 4, ahead of the pilot run of limited face-to-face classes starting Monday.

No positive cases were reported from the tests conducted on teachers from Payatas B Annex Elementary School as of posting time.

Mayor Joy Belmonte assured parents and students that safety protocols are in place to ensure a safe return to school for both children and teachers.

The Department of Education announced on Thursday, December 2, that 177 schools across the country will participate in the pilot run of face-to-face classes starting Monday, including 28 public schools from Metro Manila.
