Daquis leads Farm Fresh's comeback vs. Capital1

At 37 years old, veteran player Rachel Anne Daquis led Farm Fresh to a dramatic five-set comeback win over Capital1 in the PVL All-Filipino Conference on Tuesday.

Daquis recorded a game-high 19 points with 17 attacks and two blocks, along with key defensive plays that helped secure the victory despite cramping late in the match.

Farm Fresh secured their win even without Trisha Tubu, who was recovering from back spasms, while Capital1 struggled to maintain their early lead.

Coach Benson Bocboc noted Daquis' positive attitude and ability to lift her teammates' spirits during the comeback.

Daquis emphasized that despite her struggles in the first two sets, she was motivated to help her team and played through cramps in the final set, hitting the game-clinching spike.

The victory for Farm Fresh (5-6) marked the end of their elimination round campaign on a high note, while Capital1 dropped to a 1-10 record.
