PUI dies of coronavirus in Dagupan, another in Zamboanga

A person under investigation (PUI) in Dagupan, Pangasinan died on Wednesday while waiting for coronavirus test results.

The PUI was a department head from Lingayen who had returned from Metro Manila with flu-like symptoms but refused hospitalization until experiencing breathing difficulties.

In Zamboanga City, another PUI died over the weekend before receiving test results; this patient was a 57-year-old woman with diabetes and travel history to the UK.

Five other PUIs in Zamboanga tested negative for COVID-19 while 93 persons under monitoring (PUM) were also cleared.
