Gov't sets strict health protocols for Duterte's final SONA

Health and safety protocols are prepared for President Duterte's final State of the Nation Address (SONA) on Monday.

Cabinet Secretary Karlo Nograles stated that strict measures will be implemented to ensure guest safety at Batasang Pambansa in Quezon City during the pandemic.

The Presidential Security Group (PSG), Presidential Management Staff, and Congress have coordinated meetings for arrangements with stringent health protocols.

PSG created a task force in May for early planning and preparation, conducting security and inter-agency meetings, site inspections, and enforcing strict health rules to minimize attendees inside the plenary.
