PSA revises Q3 growth to 6.9%

The Philippine economy grew by 6.9% in Q3, lower than the previously reported 7.1%.

Financial and insurance activities, professional and business services, and real estate and ownership of dwellings contributed less to growth.

GDP for January-September was revised down to 4.8% from 4.9%, while gross national income decreased to 2.7% from 2.8%.

The revision comes before the release of preliminary Q4 GDP estimates on Thursday.
