PRO-10 deploys 400 officers as SEB members for BARMM elections

The Police Regional Office in Northern Mindanao (PRO-10) announced the deployment of 400 officers as special electoral board members to support the Commission on Elections (Comelec) in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM).

During a send-off ceremony at Camp Alagar, Cagayan de Oro City, PRO-10 Director Brig. Gen. Jaysen de Guzman emphasized the importance of these officers in maintaining peace and order during the election process.

The deployed officers will serve as members of the Special Electoral Board (SEB) to ensure a smooth and secure electoral process, according to Police Major Joann G. Navarro, chief of PRO 10-Regional Public Information Office.

They are assigned to 30 towns in BARMM and approximately 20 towns in Lanao del Sur based on Comelec's updated list of election hotspots released on March 19.

PRO-10 has been prepared and trained for this deployment, reflecting their commitment to uphold the integrity of the electoral process and maintain peace during the elections.
