FEU coach confident rookie Pre will win Rookie of the Year

Far Eastern University coach Sean Chambers is confident that rookie player Veejay Pre will win the Rookie of the Year award in the UAAP Season 87.

Chambers praised Pre for his recent performances, including a 31-point and 14-rebound game against fourth-place UST and a 20-point, eight-rebound effort against third-ranked UE on Sunday, November 3.

The coach believes that Pre's potential is far from being fully realized and has even hinted at the possibility of him representing the country in the future.

Pre acknowledged feeling motivated by his coach's belief in him and expressed a desire to help the team win every game and prove their capabilities.

Playing with patience and acumen beyond his years, Pre continues to be a consistent force for FEU as they face crucial matches in the remaining elimination round.
