Police seize P4.3M worth of shabu in Cavite, Rizal, Taguig

Police seized P850,000 worth of crystal methamphetamine from an alleged high-value drug trafficker in Dasmariñas City, Cavite and more than P421,000 worth of shabu from two suspects in Rodriguez town, Rizal province on Saturday.

Four individuals were arrested in Taguig City on Sunday, yielding P3.4 million worth of suspected crystal methamphetamine (shabu) during a buy-bust operation along Barangay Calzada-Tipas.

The Southern Police District identified the suspects as Ryan, 33; Analiza, 37; Marilog, 33; and Jeffrey, 39.

Seized from them were approximately 500 grams of shabu, boodle money used for the operation, and a pouch.

The SPD Forensic Unit will conduct a forensic examination of the seized evidence, while the suspects face criminal complaints under Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
