Two drug pushers arrested in Lucena, total seized drugs worth over P129K

An alleged pusher with a previous drug conviction was arrested by anti-narcotics operatives in Lucena City on Saturday, Aug. 24.

Lieutenant Colonel Dennis de Guzman reported that 'William,' 43, sold P500 worth of shabu to a poseur buyer around 5:45 p.m. in Barangay Silangang Mayao.

On Monday, another street pusher named Renato, aged 67 and also with a previous drug conviction, was arrested after selling shabu to an undercover officer in Barangay Marketview around 4:30 p.m.

During the arrest of William, six sachets of methamphetamine worth P68,340 were seized along with a motorcycle used for drug activities, while Renato yielded three plastic sachets of meth worth P61,200.

Both suspects are listed as street-level individuals on the drug watchlist and face charges under the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
