Police arrest five alleged drug pushers, seize P2.1M worth of shabu in Quezon

Quezon province's police anti-narcotics agents arrested five alleged drug pushers and seized over P2.1 million worth of shabu, while two suspects were also arrested in Quezon City for possession of PHP3.4 million worth of suspected shabu in separate buy-bust operations on Monday and Wednesday.

In Mauban town, two suspects were arrested after selling shabu to an undercover officer; the drugs had a standard value of P463,080 but an estimated street value of P1,389,240.

In Lucena City, police apprehended Enzo in Barangay Gulang-Gulang with seven sachets of meth weighing 7 grams and valued at P612,000.

The same day, Nikon and Mac were arrested in Barangay Ilayang Iyam for possession of shabu worth P112,000 based on street value; meanwhile, Esmail, 22, and Heinrich, 40, were detained in Quezon City with around 500 grams of suspected shabu.

All suspects are reportedly included in the police drug watch list and will face charges under the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
